Some people are interested in the mafia, some like the gunslingers of yore; I'm intrigued by Japan's crime-syndicate, the Yakuza. So stories like this one catch my eye:

The story goes on to chart some specific cases and examines the decline of tolerance for gang activity in various cities. Apparently, people are taking the Yakuza to court a lot lately. Wonder how that will all turn out in the end?
